A secluded creek side retreat only one block from Main Street is what you will find at Alpenblumen on Barons Creek. This 1930 cottage offers one or two bedrooms. A private deck overlooks the acre lot and spring fed Barons Creek. Front porch rockers invite you to relax and enjoy small town charm. Perfect for couples or ladies on a hill country shopping trip.
The front bedroom has a comfy king Stearns and Foster bed with Battenburg linens. Large lace curtained windows bring in the sunshine. The second bedroom is available to rent and has a queen four poster bed with pineapple finials. Both bedrooms are accented with blues and yellows. Edelweiss Zimmer—a third detached queen bed and bath—will be available in late Spring 2008. The total property will be able to sleep 6 at that time using all three bedrooms.
The living room has a sofa and three wing back chairs situated to see the view of the yard towards the creek or watch television. The kitchen has old farmhouse cabinets with German style Florentine glass. Enjoy the tea set on the antique buffet. There is a great sun porch where you can sit for breakfast and enjoy the bird feeders. Abundant wildlife and nesting birds reside. Bluebonnets greet you every spring.
The bathroom has parchment colored walls and a whirlpool tub for the weary traveler.
